Kathmandu . The Global Writers Academy India and The Daily Global Nation Bangladesh has awarded 31 poets from around the world with the prestigious "Poet of Nature Award." In recognition to the outstanding contributions on the occasion of World Environment Day 2024 the poets were gifted with this accolades.

The distinguished recipients were recognized for their exceptional literary works that explore and celebrate the beauty and fragility of the natural world. The awards were presented in honor of their unwavering commitment to raising awareness about environmental conservation.
The President of the Global Writers Academy and Managing Editor of The Daily Global Nation, Bishwananda Sinha, expressed his profound admiration for the poets. "I am deeply honored to acknowledge these individuals who have dedicated their voices to preserving the environment and inspiring us to appreciate its wonders," he said.
Sinha emphasized the importance of poetry as a powerful medium for environmental stewardship. "Through their evocative words, these poets awaken our senses to the intricate beauty of our planet and challenge us to protect it for future generations," he said.
After receiving the award poet from Nepal, Saroj Ojha expressed his gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue using their art to inspire environmental awareness. He even urged people to embrace their role as guardians of the Earth and to act responsibly to preserve its marvels for generations to come.
