485 Local Level Results Published

Kathmandu. The results of the ongoing counting of votes for the local level member election, 2079 BS, are yet to come. According to the Election Commission, the final results of 485 local level polls have been made public.
Among the municipalities where votes are being counted, the Nepali Congress has won 68 seats and is leading in 74 seats. The CPN (UML) has won 38 seats and is leading in 39 seats.

Similarly, the CPN (Maoist Center) has won 14 seats and is leading in nine seats. The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) has won three seats and is leading in eight seats. Others including Swatantra have won seven seats and are leading in 26 seats.

Among the municipalities where votes are being counted, the Congress has won 57 seats and is leading in 40 seats. UML has won 45 seats and is leading in 60 seats. The UCPN (Maoist) has won 21 seats and is leading in 11 seats while the UCPN (Maoist) has won five seats and is leading in four seats. Others have won three places and are leading in 20 places.

In the counting of votes, the Nepali Congress has won 150 seats and is leading in 29 seats. UML has won 99 seats and is leading in 25 seats. The UCPN (M) has won 81 seats and is leading in 10 seats while the UCPN (Maoist) has won 10 seats and is leading in 10 seats. Others have won 15 places and are leading in 12 places.

The Nepali Congress (NC) has won 145 seats and is leading in 34 seats. UML has won 97 seats and is leading in 27 seats. The UCPN (M) has won 81 seats and is leading in seven seats. The Unified Socialists have won 10 seats and are leading in seven seats. Others have won 13 seats and are leading in 11 seats.

The Congress has secured the lead in 61 seats by winning 2,080 seats among the local level ward chairpersons. UML has won the post by 1,609 and is leading in 79 places. The UCPN-M has won 879 seats and is leading in 15 seats. Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has won 169 seats and is leading in 12 seats. Others including Swatantra have won 437 seats and are leading in 12 seats.

Among the women members, the Nepali Congress has won 2,046 seats and is leading in 59 seats. UML has won 1,745 seats and is leading in 83 seats. The Maoist center has won 818 seats among women members and is leading in 15 seats. Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has won 170 seats and is leading in 12 seats. Others have won 392 seats and are leading in nine seats.
